Our Role in the Community

The Grimsby & District Chamber of Commerce is comprised of business and professional people, service clubs and individuals who believe in the free enterprise system and who use the Chamber as a forum for expressing their concerns, opinions and expertise.

We are a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses who band together to advance the interests of the community.

The Chamber is multi-faceted, acting as a civic clearing house, public relations counselor, information bureau and a representative at all levels of government.

Membership in the Chamber is an investment in the present and future of both the individual’s and the community’s welfare.

Affiliation with your Chamber of Commerce provides your organization with a measure of professionalism and credibility in the local business community.

Chamber Advocacy

The Chamber membership makes for a strong voice on important issues which impact local business.  Representations are made by the executive on behalf of our members to various levels of government, other organizations and individuals.
